Big Eye Tuna have been coming in from the waters of San Diego! Big Eye tuna has a mild, meaty flavor. The meat is bright red in its raw state but, when cooked, turns brown to grayish-tan, firm and moist, with large flakes. It is excellent on the BBQ, Pan Seared, canned, and raw.
