Kumamoto Oysters are deep-cupped with a 2-2.5 inch shell with petite meats. A small, deeply cupped oyster named for the Japanese bay in which they originated. They are a favorite for both new oyster eaters and connoisseurs. They have a mild brininess upfront, yet delightfully sweet flavor and a honeydew finish.
