Dear Seafood Lovers, 

Due to the COVID-19 virus we are offering several NEW methods to get our seafood. 

In addition to our retail market opening we will be offering same day home delivery for any orders of $40 or more within the City of Santa Barbara. We will be delivering all orders directly to your door by 6pm daily as long as your order is received by 12pm. Orders received after 12pm will be delivered the following day. We will be delivering Monday through Saturday. For home deliveries, please select the Home Delivery shipping option upon check out on our website sbfish.com. If you are out of our delivery range you can select a Fedex overnight shipping option. 

We are making sure our employees and customer are staying healthy by taking countless precautionary steps to minimize the risk of coming into contact with COVID-19 virus. We have increased our already strict SSOP (standard sanitation operating procedures) and HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) procedures at both our wholesale processing facility and retail store. Some noteworthy additions are: even more strict hand washing protocol, continual sanitation of all surfaces in contact with seafood or seafood packaging. As well if anyone on our team shows the slightest signs of illness, they will not be permitted to work.

We are pre-packing our freshly made Ahi and Salmon Poke, Indian Candy, and many other products in sealable containers to maximize food safety.  

We are regularly sanitizing all door handles, food contact surfaces, registers, coolers, and display cases every 15-30 minutes.

All seafood packaging and utensils are only being handled by our staff. They are being stored in sealed enclosed containers ensuring they are in a sterilized environment. 

We are constantly monitoring all state and federal food facility suggested procedures, any and all mandated procedures are being implemented immediately. 

We are offering drive through service with the option to pre-order your desired seafood via telephone at 805-965-9564 for faster drive through pick up service at the harbor retail market’s backdoor.

Our local commercial fishermen have been greatly impacted due to the decreased demand as a result of restaurant closures around the state and country. Your support helps to keep them on the fishing grounds, bringing in the local seafood you have all come to expect at SBFM. We are continuing to work hard to keep a well stocked market to fill the needs of our customers. We are sending positive vibes of love, health, and happiness to our community, and everyone being affected by this current shift from our normal everyday lives. We are optimistic with continued awareness and working together we will overcome this situation and see things normalize in the near future.
